Bonnie Jean von Krogh Associate

Bonnie Jean von Krogh brings a strong background in media relations, communications and policy writing to the Lew Edwards Group team.

Throughout 2005 and 2006, von Krogh directed tough candidate, municipal, school and hospital district campaigns throughout California for the Lew Edwards Group, including successful finance measure campaigns on behalf of the cities of Porterville and Manteca, the Arcadia and Fontana Unified School Districts, and Mountain Community Medical Services Healthcare District, among others.

Offering savvy expertise in media and crisis communications, von Krogh has aided transportation workers and hospitals represented by the Lew Edwards Group in developing effective print and electronic media message campaigns, and creating communications programs that facilitate diverse coalition building.

Prior to joining the Lew Edwards Group, von Krogh served on the Kerry-Edwards campaign national advance staff, specifically working with the national traveling press corps and local media outlets. She has also worked as a freelance writer and researcher contributing to technology and biotech journals and in product marketing at a bioinformatics startup.

A well-respected and experienced Bay Area activist and organizer, von Krogh currently serves on the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Women's Political Committee, where she works to advance the empowerment of women candidates and issues. She resides in San Francisco with her husband, Mark Blomberg.
