As Director of Marketing and Special Projects at The Lew Edwards Group, Danielle Escalera Kerr oversees a variety of marketing, demographic, research and client projects to ensure a seamless process from the initiation of a client relationship with LEG.

Along-side President & CEO Catherine Lew, Ms. Kerr works to assess a potential LEG client’s needs and advise Ms. Lew of initial media, demographic, and local considerations to consider in developing a client’s unique strategies and initial planning steps.

Ms. Kerr has a background in fine art and photography that has provided her with a strong visual aesthetic. Coupled with her prior experience as a Webmaster, Ms. Kerr lends her artistic and technical expertise to both The Lew Edwards Group and its clients’ web and communications needs. She has assisted with communications planning initiatives on behalf of clients that include the cities of San Juan Capistrano and Seaside, and the Los Angeles Unified School District and addresses a variety of rapid response media needs, press advisories and media pitches, and issue research for LEG clients.

Ms. Kerr also serves as LEG’s company liaison to the League of California Cities, for whom LEG has collaborated frequently, including preparing for the firm’s many conference and regional ballot measure academy training sessions. She also oversees LEG’s regular contributions to the “California City News,” an E-Newsletter, which informs cities of breaking policy or political developments, and trends that affect local government.

A member of The Lew Edwards Group team since 2001, Kerr began as the Director/Executive Assistant to the President. Prior to her tenure at the Lew Edwards Group, Ms. Kerr served as an Executive Assistant/Webmaster at a high-tech recruiting firm. She is a California native and graduate of the University of California at Santa Cruz, and joins other members of the firm in representing the Golden State’s rich diversity and culture.

Ms. Kerr currently resides in Richmond, CA with her husband David and two children, Jadyn Lili and Jamison Elliott.
